Italian Restaurant in Nara. work in progress

Renovation of a former farmer house from Taishō era into a restaurant and guest house. The design is made to host the two functions independently while keeping a synergic relationship between all the spaces. It was also taken into account the owner request for future adaptability to be easily converted into residential use if needed.

大正時代からの古民家リノベです。イタリアンレストランと宿を独立して利用しながらも、全ての空間の相乗効果を維持するよう設計されています。また、オーナーの要望である将来的な住宅用途への容易な変更も考慮されています。
